The Olympus LG-1 LED Macro Ring Light is designed for use with the Stylus Tough TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, TG-4, and TG-5 digital cameras. It can be put on and removed underwater and channels the camera's LED illuminator into a round, even light source perfect for close-ups and macro photography. Apr 12, 2011 It was just to stop the light illuminating when the Arduino was being used in a dark environment but the best solution is the simply cover it up. Although perhaps it would be nice if it could be controlled programmatically so, for example, I could turn on the LED during the day and turn.
I am thinking of buying some case modification LED strips (for ex Bitfenix Alchemy) but the thing about them which annoys me most is that they don't come with inbuilt on-off switch.
So can anyone suggest me any solution on how to turn off these LEDs when they are not required?
I was thinking if connecting them to a fan controller (like bitfenix recon or deepcool rockman/rockmaster) and turning the knobs to minimum can solve the problem but as I have never seen anything like it before, I am not sure of it. Any suggestion/experience regarding this will be of great help.
Thanks
